Why does soft water salt need to be sealed?

In daily life, careful people have noticed a phenomenon: when the weather is humid, our salt solidifies and there is more moisture. The main reason is that salt absorbs moisture from the air to produce moisture.
Whether it is table salt or soft water salt, their active ingredient is sodium chloride. Soft water salt is also destined to absorb water easily. When storing soft water salt, if it is left in a place with high air humidity for a long time, the soft water salt is prone to moisture absorption and may solidify and form lumps. If the unused soft water salt is left for a long time, it is extremely likely to absorb moisture from the air, become loose, and its hardness will decrease, which can easily affect its water softening capacity.
In daily storage, soft water salt must be kept in a cool place, and unused soft water salt must be sealed immediately.
