Why do some water softeners form salt Bridges when salt is added?

The reason why soft water salt forms salt Bridges is that the working environment is humid. When too much soft water salt is added to the salt tank, the soft water salt absorbs water and becomes damp, resulting in lumps. Secondly, when choosing recycled salt, due to its low purity and high content of impurities such as sand and organic matter, the salt tank of the water softener forms a bypass.
